No updates from me this week, but Wil Wheaton managed to catch some downtime for sharing a meme that was circulating for a day, followed by some very personal thoughts on the topic. His post has since been restored; after review, Facebook conclueded it does not violate community standards.

This is a good case reminder that Facebook controls the entirety of conversations on Facebook. If you don’t want to risk things meaningful to you disappearing because they’re on that platform, don’t put them on that platform.
